5 Products To Work Out At Home

It may be harder than ever to find the motivation to exercise these days, but even moving for a few minutes will provide you with some much needed endorphins during this challenging time.   To quote the astute Elle Woods: “Exercise gives you endorphins. Endorphins make you happy. Happy people just don’t kill their husbands, they just don’t.

Quarantine & Chill: My Work From Home Makeup Routine

I’ve been working from home every day for over two weeks now. I’m sure like most people, I haven’t had the desire to wear much makeup; however, my company very loves to do video conference calls and I need to look somewhat presentable for those meetings. I will admit getting ready as if I’m going to go to the office has definitely been an instant mood booster for me. The more I stick to a routine, the more productive I am and less anxiety I have.

Weekly Must-Have: Biopelle Dark Circle Relief Cream

My complex with my under eye circles is well documented on BeautyBanter.   I’m willing to try truly any brightening eye cream or concealer to improve the situation.   A few weeks ago I was lamenting my woes to my dermatologist, and Dr. Russak insisted I ditch my current eye cream for Biopelle Dark Circle Relief.

Updated! The Best & Worst Glossier Products, Ranked

I don’t think I’ve ever been more loyal to a particular brand. Not just because I’m a rep—but because I’ve been a fan of Glossier since its inception with the Phase 1 set (the OG set—you know, the face mist, the priming moisturizer and the balm dotcom). In celebration of a brand I love, I gathered up all the skincare and makeup products in my arsenal and got to work ranking each one. Skywash comes in seven shades, inspired by Southwest landscapes.

Most of us are spending a lot more time inside these days, and if you’re not – you should be! While housebound or limiting exposure to others, beauty treatments such as facials don’t have to fall by the wayside.   While it is certainly hard to replicate the results from professional hands, an at home facial can yield some Instagram-brag worthy results if you follow the right steps. 1)  Double Cleanse:  Nothing removes dirt and grime like a good old double-cleanse.   Any oil or balm cleanser followed by a milk or gel cleanser works for this step, but you will be hard pressed to find a better combo than Banila Clean It Zero ($19) and Allies of Skin Molecular Silk Amino Hydrating Cleanser ($38).

I Applied To The Sephora Squad And Need Your Help!

I would be remiss to start this blog post without acknowledging the nationwide emergency we are facing with COVID-19, or Coronavirus. The world feels pretty scary right now. Watching the news is important to me but it also makes me so much more anxious. I have to consume it in small doses or I’ll just fall down a rabbit hole of worry and fear.

A List Of Beauty Retailers & Their Return Policies

I feel like when it comes to makeup and skincare purchases, we automatically assume once we’ve opened a product, it’s not returnable. Lucky for you (and me) that’s not always true!Returning clothes is so much easier, right? Usually as long as you keep the tag on and/or the receipt and return to a store within a certain number of days then you’re good to go. A beauty retailer’s return policy can truly dictate if I decide to shop there. As someone who once tested up to 30 products a week, I always find myself reading the fine print before I checkout.
