Weekly Must-Have: Revlon Oval One-Step Hair Dryer & Volumizing Styler

Few things make me feel more attractive than a classic, bouncy blowout.   I literally feel like a new person when I walk out of the doors of my preferred blowout bar (DreamDry for New Yorkers, FYI).   Unfortunately, however, I am completely and utterly inept at styling my own hair.  When a professional does my hair, I ask for a “princess blowout” a la Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle.

L’eau Down: The Best Smelling Beauty Products

Aside from perfumes, do you ever buy other beauty products just because it smells good? Personally, I am totally willing to toss my laundry list of product requirements aside if it smells amazing—like AH-mazing.  From body care to hair mists, I rounded up my best smelling beauty products, plus my full fragrance collection. I know I’ve talked about some of these products before so instead of full reviews, I’m sticking to fragrance notes and the memory they evoke when I wear them. Herbivore Coconut Rose Coconut Oil Body Polish: The scent of this oil-based scrub is pretty obvious based on the name of the product but I can’t get enough of this delicate coconut and Moroccan rose smell.

My wish list is accumulating quickly; however, this no spend month has me appreciating all my current daily makeup staples.  So with that, an ode to my makeup favorites. I’m always going for a glowy dewy complexion and I found an old favorite to help boost that ‘lit from within’ glow—L’Oreal Lumi Glotion.

My Winter Skincare Routine

I’m so excited to share with you my full winter skincare routine, including bath and body products.  When I look back on previous winter skincare routines, I notice I was never truly dedicated to following a routine (which is why I was always dealing with dry and rough skin. I also wasn’t taking care of myself. Nowadays, I’m going to OrangeTheory once a week, eating healthy and nutritious meals and drinking LOTS of water.
