Is The Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask Worth $48?

The things I do for this blog. About two weeks ago I spent $48 on the Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask, created by bloggers Marianna Hewitt and Lauren Gores. When I first saw snippets of the product on my IG feed, I thought, well I’m not a jetsetter so why would I ever use this mask? Then I saw the tagline, “you don’t have to be a jetsetter to have that lag. ” Touché, marketing.

Chanel Rouge Coco Lip Blush… Chloe Blanchard

The Lip Blush is exactly what it’s name implies, a dual purpose product that can be used on both the lips and cheeks. On the lips, a single stroke produces a stained effect but it can be layered for a more opaque finish. In the look on Chloe above, I actually layered it over their bright fuschia lip liner for a stronger pop of pink. Used on the cheeks it’s a gorgeous sheer wash of color!Note: Chloe’s skin is so flawless that I actually skipped foundation and just used the Sisley Paris Instant Eclat, an illuminating primer.

Makeup Bag: Celebrity Makeup Artist Suzy Gerstein

“I am a big fan of non-toxic beauty. There are so many great things happening in the Green Beauty space that it’s an exciting time to support brands that do good for women and the environment. I also don’t drive myself nuts about being exclusively 100% non-toxic. If can’t find a mascara that lasts through a sad movie (or red carpet) without running, or spot an electric teal eyeliner in Sephora that makes my heart sing, then I shop the mainstream lines without feeling guilty about it.

10 Hero Ingredients Of K-Beauty

Skincare comprised of natural, non-toxic, and healthy ingredients is a must, especially when we consider that the epidermis, the top part of the skin, is our body’s largest organ. Imagine eating poison? No, thanks. Well, the same holds true for what you put on your face and body. Think of it like this: if physically ingesting it would make you sick, it has no place in your skincare products.

There is nothing quite like a smokey eye and nude lip. Iggy naturally has a sultry vibe that lends itself to this sexy, modern look. Then I added black liner around her waterline (top and bottom) and finished with several coats of mascara.

3 Cannabis Skincare Products That Will Take Your Beauty Buzz Higher

For a time, it seemed like skincare treatments were becoming more and more horror-movie-like (vampire facials! snail slime! leech face-lifts!), but these days, skin care is becoming a lot more… chill. There’s been a lot of talk lately about how to use cannabis not just for recreational use but also for vanity purposes. I noticed the buzz bubbling up, with more and more talk of slathering cannabis on your face. Until recently, cannabis was primarily known for its most active ingredient, delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), which is the compound that compels you to jam to Bob Marley.

A Silver Smokey Eye In Less Than 5 Minutes

Metallics are trending, that’s nothing new. Gold is our forever favorite, but we’re really feeling the silver vibe right now. A little bit Studio 54, a lot of glam, silver is seductive, especially when you’re going for a nighttime smokey eye. Silver looks gorge on cool-toned gals, but it also looks lovely on warm-toned ladies, too; something about the warm skin tone and the iciness of silver just clicks.
